This wildly funny, irreverent, song-filled cabaret about composer Ludwig von Beethoven will be performed nightly this summer at the Seven Hills Inn ballroom.
The show is specially created for the Seven Hills Inn by Nancy Holson. This five time Emmy Award winning writer of The News in Revue, (the Berkshires original long-running musical political satire) has penned outrageously clever lyrics and set them to Beethoven's greatest hits. To the tune of his famous melodies like Moonlight Sonata, Für Elise and the Ninth Symphony, Beethoven will sing about his angry mistresses, his rival Mozart, his mentor Hayden and array of characters that have come in and out of his life.
Starring Broadway pianist/singer and award winning cabaret performer, Charles Lindberg as Beethoven. He has won both the Bistro Award (Backstage Magazine) and the Nightlife Award for Best Entertainer in Manhattan.
Comedienne, Katherine Pecevich, (a long time News in Review favorite) portrays every character in Ludwig's life including his mother, his three girlfriends, Napoleon Bonaparte, his nephew and would you believe, Elvis?
Robin Gerson Wong, the proprietor of the Seven Hills Inn and veteran of the Broadway stage, makes a guest appearance as The Innkeeper and sings a medley of tunes that opens the second act.
